Why should I curse you, when God loves you.

Anyway, been really a long time since I last blog. Not that I was busy and all but. Wasn’t in the mood of doing so as well. For the past few weeks, haven’t been really a good time for me. Just that, saw too many things that wasn’t suppose to be.. But then again, who am I to judge if that person is wrong or not. Or am I being too pressured due to so many things that is needed to be done, and ended up feeling like I rammed myself into a wall. And I felt like throwing everything out the window. Few days ago, I borrowed a VCD from a friend of mine on Mother Theresa as I needed to do something for a Christmas presentation in church. As I jump track just to see if I can use anything for the presentation, there was one scene where the landlord came and wanted to collect money from Mother Theresa.. But she had no money to pay, so what happened was that the landlord came and took everything.

Landlord : Take the flour, & sugar too. (turns to Mother Theresa) I left some rice for you.
M.Theresa : Thank you. And God Bless you.
Landlord : I’m taking everything you have. Why don’t you curse me?
M.Theresa : Why should I curse you, when God loves you.

These strong words made me realize that, we are all human. We all make mistakes, and we aren’t perfect. So even if man do fail us, we shouldn’t get too upset about it. Because I know that God will never leave us or forsake us. And no matter what, we should put our trust in the Lord. And once I did that, things began to change.. As all this while I’ve been pretty much struggling on my own trying to sort out a lot of things. But it was He who has been so good and gracious to me, that He pulled me through.

The project in Lundu went well. You can see the pictures here on pretty much what we did. Though the preparation was a bit last minute, but thank God everything went through. As the very last minute He sent angels to helped get the work done, not only that I was also able to finish the video that was needed for Christmas Eve Video. And on Christmas eve itself, I learned something very important. Most of the time I always complained about people just like to talk but no action was being taken. And when you managed to do something and it went well, they would always rush to obtain the credits. But once things goes wrong, you’ll be the first person to get shot. So what in the world I learned from all these?
Throughout the entire project that was being carried out, I learned that there are people who did a lot of stuff behind the scene and never complained about the things they are doing. And the best part for Christmas Eve Concert was that, the support from the people who are around you that even though you never really know them or whom you thought were proud are actually nice people. And when Christmas came, everything was different in a sense. That, it’s not about the presents or the people who are with you. But it’s how you would allow Christ to come into your heart and see things through His eyes which made a lot of difference. Anyway, it’s all good :) And something happened on Christmas Eve, but that will be another tale.

Vacation Bible School Day 1 & 2

VBSThe long awaited Vacation Bible School (VBS) have come. After weeks of practices as well as loads of decoration needed to be done, finally the church was ready to welcome this group of young children from age as young as 4 to as old as 12 to participate in this fun filled activities, from 8am to 12pm. This year theme is talking on the “Lord’s Prayer”. The groups were broken up into 4 different animals. Gentle Giraffes(4-6), Happy Hippos (7-8), Zippy Zebras(9-10), & Mighty Lions(11-12) which are based on their age groups. The activities that they had were Praise & Worship, Video session, Story telling, Games, Crafts Centre, Theme Centre & also they have snack sessions. We were very privilege to have Ps.Ting who went to Africa for 3 months to do mission work over there. As she showed us pictures and thought us the African language, and the children learned to sing “Thank You, Thank You, Jesus” in African. Day 1 was not too bad, as the children were getting to know each other as there were over 280 of them. And the songs they’ve learned today was “Jambo” meaning Hello as well as The Lord’s Prayer. No casualties yet for day 1, as all the children were having too much fun while the helper and guides were busy trying to get them together.

Day two is another session, whereby it was raining heavily in the morning thus the games section were not able to be done out on the field. But fortunately, the foyer was large enough to accommodate the children to still have fun despite of the rain. Today they’ve learned a new song which was “Harambe” meaning Let’s get together, and “One Basket”. Today the children were extremely hyper active, I think maybe they didn’t have the chance to run on the field that causes them to have so much extra energy. I had a hard time trying to catch these little fellas to ask them to get back into group, but never the less I still had fun. Anyway, I think I’ve said enough. I’ll let pictures do the talking. Have a nice day!

7-Up Seriously. I was wondering where did this drink go. I’ve tried a few shopping malls, and those who are selling drinks. They don’t even have it, or sprite.. The one that I found was imported ones.. But, they’re pretty small.. -_- Hmmm.. is it a shortage or something…

Oh well. Anyway, life goes one. Things been picking up lately, thank God for that.. But now am currently busy with so many things that will be coming up for the next few weeks. On the 17th of November, there will be a charity concert done by our church to raise funds for the rural Chinese schools to buy computers. After that, from the 20th-24th November it will be Vacation Bible School a program that is organized by the church for children to come together for not only to have fun but also learn more about God. This year theme is on the Lord’s Prayer.. That will definitely be something to look forward to. After that it will be Elmund’s & Caca’s wedding, then will be prolly be going up to Lundu doing something there for Christmas eve. And finally will end everything in Christmas.. They're All Grown Up….

It’s been a while since here in the shop. It’s almost close to 3 months already ever since these 2 kittens came to the shop. They have been running about on the 1st floor but have never ventured to the ground floor. Whenever we tried to carry them down, they would scream and wanted to get out from there asap.
Few days ago, they started to finally come down. It was a bit scary for them at first, but now they’re treating it as if their own playground. Anyway, Ahphak seems to be more adventurous compared to Gendut. Ahphak, tends to wander to the entrance of the shop. But she wouldn’t step foot outside the store. She’ll end up running around again and Gendut will always be at the back just observing. Gengut didnot have a very good experience though. Poor thing got stepped on. Anyway, will hit the sack now. Till I blog again
