We’ve already decided on what date would be meaningful for our wedding. That time we’ve agreed to have it on the 18th August 2007, as the reason because since we can’t have it on the 1st of August (that was the very day we started our relationship), it would still have a 1 and an 8. But apparently, like my brother Jason warned me make sure it does not fall during the Hungry Ghost Festival. I was like asking him, what is wrong during that day? He said that the older generation might not like it and a lot of complications later. I’ve assured my brother, saying that it’s not as we thought it was during the 8 and half month of the lunar calender which is somewhere in September. Anyway, Deluxe’s mom called and said that it falls on the during that festival -_-”
So we were like stumped, and didn’t know what to do next. Even though we being as Christian wouldn’t mind having it on any other day, but due to the fact that many of the people we are going to invite might not like the idea and would take it as an insult. So the date had to be changed, and her mom decided to have it on 29th September. That time, it didn’t sound too good because of the delay, so Deluxe’s Dad went and pulled out the calender and said that instead of having so far we should have it on the 31st October. Mainly the reason because it’s Malaysia’s National day, and the whole nation will be celebrating our wedding plus it will be a holiday which will make everyone available ~_~” Called up my mom, and she said that she will talk to my other relatives and see what they say. As for now we will not be able to find out when will the date be. So I guess we need to wait….

The very first day of 2006, gave a shock of my life for my whole family. I remember coming back from church, my mom asked us to quickly have our lunch then go to the General Hospital. What happened was that, granny had a stroke fell on the ground hard. As I recalled looking at her, she was not even able to move nor open her eyes. As I remembered sending a mass SMS to everyone I know, and emailing all the other church members for prayer. Her current status now is pretty much stable. Just that her left side is still unable to move much.
During this month, Mars came back for the holidays. And it was the only time I was able to catch up with them with two of my other good friends. This picture was taken in Esplanade, where we always have one of our favorite activity which is BBQ. We always have a good time there, and it has always been good to smoke the chickens. And though there were new faces around, guess it shows how much I have been away. But it is all good. Mars birthday falls on the 8th of Jan, same with Bong. Burnett’s birthday also falls on the 14th of January, where both Mars and I went and paid our respect to him. Its been over 2 years since he left us to be with God. Rest in peace bro.
Deluxe came by and visited me a few days before Chinese New Year. It has been over a month, since I left Kuching and boy was I happy to see her. We went to Brunei as well just for a short trip, and then went and visit Granny to see how she was doing. She left just a few days before Chinese New Year, and on CNY eve the whole family got together and have a feast. Since most of us are not in Miri at the moment, it is the best time when the family get back together. During this time, Granny was able to join us for dinner. Though she only can take soup, but her presence there indeed made a difference for all of us. But this year for Chinese New Year, didn’t really had a big bang as they tried to limit the amount of fire crackers being lit on that night. But this year, some how it was different where we went visiting as a family. Normally we would break into our own group and do our visitation to our friends.
During this month, I went over to Singapore from Miri via Airsia to Johor. Boy it was a flight I think it was one of the worst flight I could take. But anyway, here is where I met up with Deluxe once again after taking the bus to town. Was so extremely happy to be able to reunite with her again. The reason I went here is to attend one of her close friend wedding. So by happened that my cousin as well as my brother was in Singapore. We went to Sentosa and had a look around there, and of course visit the shopping malls around. I also able to meet up with Bong as well, who is currently working in Singapore. Really had a good time when I was able to catch up with him, and not only that he seems to be doing very in Singapore. You can click 
Our pet cat in Miri had died, due to old age. Yeah, this was the cat that made me get up early and kicked me out from my bed. She would jump in from the window and go to my bed and start jumping around the mattress, or she would go near your face and start to irritate you. I remember when she was still a kitten, she would just meow herself into the room. And she was the one who made me sleep downstairs the living room, because she doesn’t like the idea of being alone. I guess that’s where she probably got to be so spoiled. And also, an old relative from China came over to visit us. Didn’t had a picture of them, but was pretty amazed how they managed to find us. All she had was a letter of each and every one of my grand uncle and aunt’s name. Guess, they wanted to find out how we are doing here in Malaysia. Guess it’s pretty cool to know you still have relative in China, but you never really got to know them.
During this month as well, I sort of was chosen to be Assistant Cell Group Leader. This I guess was the beginning of the turning point where I started to become busy as well as opening to new “challenges” in life that I had to face.
Rev.Ang fell sick during this month. What happened was that, Elmund went to the church to check with Pastor something. After his meeting with pastor, he SMS me telling me that Pastor was not feeling well. So I was thinking maybe I should visit him the very next day. When I went to church bringing some herbal tea, Annie told me that he got admitted to the hospital. So I went over to timberland and managed to find him and asked him what has happened. Ps wife was there, and practically told me everything. And he had to take leave for some time to get some rest, that was what the doctor ordered him to do. Fortunately for us, Rev. Hii got attached to church and was able to carry out the work on behalf of Rev.Ang. Here is a post where I did on 
After that, went back to her place and celebrated her birthday then. She is one amazing person, and I thank God that He made our path crossed. There are so many things I would like to say about her, but I’ll leave that for a later part 
We also held a farewell party for both Hui Lih and Lin, as they are going to Hong Kong to continue their footsteps in life. Guess everyone has to move on in life 
The very first project we did for this time was having a race, well sort of like amazing race like that. I was practically following with one group around using a handy cam trying to shoot how they get things done. IT was pretty much fun doing so, and you can read up more things that occurred 
This month was also the month where my birthday falls. Deluxe thought of maybe celebrate my birthday with the others after worship practice, as I was also going to lead praise and worship that following Sunday. I celebrate along with Larry who was 5 days earlier than me. There are some photos posted 
During this month, I’ve went to quite a number of food fair. Apparently lots of fund raising to go to. Anyway, the shirt there I won by posting the #2,888 in a forum. During this month as well, we started our preparation for Vacation Bible School. It’s sort of like a children camp for 5 days. And also went over to visit Louis as she needed help in making the animals. She told us that she started constructing everything since April, and VBS starts in November. She indeed has been a blessing for the church with all the work she has put into. And also during this month as well, was the end of the World Cup that was won by Italy. And Zidane went and do something, out of the ordinary.

The crack of dawn on the very first day of August, I celebrate our 3rd year being together with Deluxe. I brought her to a Thai Restaurant, where we had quite a meal. Indeed, Deluxe has been really a blessing in my life. And through thick and thin she would always stand by me. I thank God for her, for someone who is as loving as well as understanding. Which is more than I could ever ask for. She’s an amazing women, and I know that she will be someone whom I am looking forward to spend the rest of my life with. 
I’ve also made a short trip back to Miri in the month of August. It was pretty much a fruitful trip, as I accomplished a few more things back home before I left back to Kuching. Went and purchased a digital camera for my dad, and set up a pc for him to use. Went and redo the network system back home so that the whole house would be able to use the internet. Went to Brunei to send off my brother to NZ. And also managed to talk to update my mom on a lot of stuff. Practically that’s pretty much about it. More pictures in Miri

This is when Belang first stepped into the shop, and thus carrying two more luggage with her. And some more Belang just gave birth to 3 more kittens 2 days ago.. Will upload the photos here. And the other picture was a picture that I took which won me first prize in the funniest picture my church organized. Guess I had nothing else better to do then. But it’s all good.
VBS is this month.. And boy did I had fun.. Well.. It wasn’t that bad.. But it was indeed tiring, with the amount of practices as well as running around chasing kids hoping for them to stay put.. Hahaha.. But it was good.. You can see more pictures here :-
