Here’s something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:

1.Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”

Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”

Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

If you’re using a broadband connection you’ll load pages MUCH faster now!

** Not sure is it just me or it might have a little effect.  Oh well.  No hard trying

Finally, she came back.  Yes, after a long one whole week of not seeing her.  Time does fly by so quickly now..  Now food has more taste, and I’m alive again. Bwhahaha.  Ok, slept about 4 this morning.  Think got a little bit too excited till I can’t sleep I suppose   Anyway, cleaned my house and did the laundry.  Yeah, that’s pretty much about it.  Apart from that, got up about 8.30 and went and took a quick shower and finish up my remaining laundry and head to the airport.  Went and parked beside the lane, and suddenly as I was about to stepped out from my car I saw two policeman came by and start to pull out their saman book.  X_X”  So I stayed inside the car for a while, before they came and tap on my window and asked me to go park in the car park.  After that, we went to King Center and had our lunch there, and managed to catch up on what’s happening in full details   It’s all good. Anyway, got to go now.  Will update tomorrow.  Have a nice day.

    Yeap, have to wait another day. As she wasn’t able to get any flight back here to Kuching. Aduhh.. Another long wait.. -_-” It’s ok, just one more day.. Watched American Idol last night, and hey the chubby guy still in there.. Hahaha. So glad that this time, people are actually voting based on the talents rather than their appearance. Anyway, it’s all good
    I just had lunch. Apparently the person forgotten my order so I had to went over and checked on it. This time menu is Thai Fried Rice. Not too bad, but the keropok might need to improve a little. Another long day, and it rain just now for like 45 mins. Apart from that, Ah Pak who had gone missing for a few days finally came back today. Really skinny and dirty, and had to give her a bath to clean her up. Apart from that, USD is going down. Which is really not that good for me as well, as all my shipping rates would need to change again.
    Other side issues, I might be making another segment in my blog on eBay or online selling. Might be good as well for those who wish to buy and sell on the Internet. Will see how to do that. But still currently looking on how to do it.
    Anyway, think that’s pretty much about it apart from my back which is currently giving me a lot of problem.. So what else is new, apart from going crazy due to the fact I’m talking to myself. Think I sit too long in front of the laptop. Maybe need to take a few mins off. Anyway, signing out now. No inspiration to blog yet, maybe something will inspire me later.     Ok, saw this in Sweet Surrender blog and I got tagged. Bwhahaha.. So here’s my support.

What is it?
    If you are a blogger, post the common sense request to all the “adult site” webmasters on your site. You can either write your own article about it, or simply copy-paste our letter:

    Please require a password-protected login before allowing even free access to explicit adult content. We understand that selling porn is your business and we respect your right to make a legal living. But understand our legitimate concerns and work with us. You already have the “warning adult content” on your websites. Yet kids, who are not legal customers of your product, ignore the warning. So to prevent them from having direct access to explicit images, texts and sounds, the simplest way is to have a password-protected login. No more “free tours” before a visitor supplies basic information.

    When you are done, write a short email to bloggerpower@yahoo.com and supply the exact link to that entry. We will link to you from the BLOGGERS page. You don’t need to link to us if you don’t want to! But we need to make a list of all those entries at the end of this call to action. We need to do it to show it to the offline media how far the blogging community is ready to go to protect the interest of the children. We need to do it to show it to the politicians that the public opinion requests measures.

    So kids, press the ALT+F4 if you see something you should not be seeing. Parent’s do install those NetNanny or other same program like that to prevent any harm that could cause for the future generation. The future is in your hand…

Here is a math trick so unbelievable that it will stump you.
Grab a calculator. (you won`t be able to do this one in your Head)

1. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the Area code)
2. Multiply by 80
3. Add 1
4. Multiply by 250
5. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.
7. Subtract 250
8. Divide number by 2

Do you recognize the answer ?

P.S This only works with a 7 digit number
