Withdraw Paypal Funds To Malaysia Local Bank? Not Yet!

In my previous post, as I mention that Paypal might be surprising Malaysia any time soon? Well.. I guess they haven’t yet. Apparently we’re not that lucky yet :( But for Indonesia, Philippines, Luxembourg , India & Slovakia. They are able to do so now. You can actually view them here.

So what’s the reason how come other countries are able to withdraw but not Malaysia yet? Well, basically that’s left to the government to decide. The reason being said so is probably they are worried that $$$ will be going out freely. Either that, there are only a minority group of people who are actually using paypal within the whole Malaysia. Well call it a conspiracy theory, whatever that is. Let us all hope that Paypal would indeed be able to help us withdraw to our local banks.

Speaking of which, this might indeed cause other chain reaction. As you know that suddenly if let say you’re an active seller and then money keep on pumping into your account. Yeah, for the first few times the bank wouldn’t mind. But what happened when suddenly you are able to pay for a BMW or a house.. Well, that’s when the Inland Revenue fella’s would call you up and suddenly tell you that they want to investigate you. After going through your bank account, and all that. You got slap with one huge saman. And probably they’ll ask you why didn’t you report your income, and then jeng, jeng, jeng. You end up hutang them and thus end of story.

Anyway, I went and opened up a tax file recently. But most likely I’ll post it up in a different post.. :) Since we can withdraw now to a visa card, at least it won’t be so bad or long before we can withdraw it to our local banks here.

Apa Hal?

For the past few days I have not been myself lately. Apparently I got a little bit of the so called “lai tien” (crazy, sot, siaw, whatever you may call it) syndrome. So yeah, basically I was going round and round and round and at the end of the day didn’t really achieve anything spectacular. Lol, anyway. That’s beside the point.

Ok.. So basically what really have been happening for the past week from the last post? I seriously have no idea man.. Wait. Let me recall. Ok. Yeah.. I went to Boulevard as well as the Spring. So basically, it was a pretty nice place to be. But unfortunately for Boulevard nor the Spring. They have not have KFC yet. So probably won’t be going there anytime soon :P But I do pity other departmental store though. The other day as Deluxe and myself went to Parkson, Wan Jia, as well as 20 Cent store. It was empty. But yesterday, when we went to Parkson again at least there are more life there now. One thing we noticed about the Spring is that, there are a lot of people, compared to the Parkson in town. But not that many people buy stuff from there. Apparently there are better deal in Parkson at riverside here, compared to the Spring. But the one in The Spring probably caters for those “high end buyers”, where as for myself as a low end type of person would still buy stuff from riverside. Talk about being cheap. Hehehe..

PageRank

Been doing a lot of thinking lately and apparently I need to update this site more.. But anyway, I’ve also consider in getting my other site rep up, since this one have already made 1. Hahaha.. Pretty amusing considering my other blogs are still at 0.. Oh well. It’s all good. I guess this one does make a difference, and probably might put in another ad or two once in a while. But it won’t be considered a spam blog?? Hehehe.. Who cares…

Ok, apart from that. What else I wanna talk about. Oh yeah, Chinese New Year. Yeah, that was a few reason why Deluxe and myself have been going shopping for the past few nights, but we managed to finally buy something only yesterday. Pretty sad don’t you think :P We managed to get those scratch cards and stuff, but haven’t really fill up the application form yet. So yeah, that’s pretty much for that…

Oh yeah before I forget. I’ve been wanting to post this up last Saturday, but apparently Streamyx acted up again.. -_-” You have no idea I’ve written such a nice and long post with pictures some more. Ended can’t post them because streamyx went down. Plus I wasn’t able save the drafts or what so ever. So that pretty much sux, and their surveyor came by the shop this morning. Boy did I have a good time blasting him (well I did it nicely), anyway his excuse was that. “Streamyx” is currently doing their upgrade. Yeah. That’s what they all say, but does it turns out better? I dunno. I let you guys decide.

Pretty much in a “sot” mood I guess. Considering the fact that people just comes in and out of the shop, and then one is taking picture in front without asking. Oh well, they’re practically freaking me out now. Either that it’s due to the fact that my toe came off, so pretty much my sanity just went off from there ever since that incident. So yeah.. Anyway, it’s all good.. Okie dokie. Will be going out tonight and hopefully there will be final shopping needed to be done See ya later!

My Information Have Been Sold!

I received a call this morning from AIA Telemarketing. As I was surprised as they were willing to give me a Free 3 months PA insurance. Anyway, as our conversation goes on they started to get information such as my IC as well as my credit card to apply for their Snatch Protection. Whereby I am asked to pay for like RM127 a month for as long as I want the protection. And what was worst, I found out that they took my information from www.lelong.com.my. Yup, you’ve heard me. Lelong went and sold out my information. Apparently I wasn’t the only who complained, there were tons of other as well who apparently got the phone call. And the way they put it by saying that, you have been “Specially Selected” by our HQ to take part in this special promotion. Which pretty much is crappy. Anyway, you can read more response here

Lelong give our private info to insurance agent??
Angry Some idiot from AIA insurance called me

Anyway, by right they had breached their terms and conditions. And we can actually sue them for doing so. So what are we gonna do about it? Need proof? Well, they said that they are recording our conversation during the phone call. So yeah.. That’s pretty much all the proof we need..

As for me, I played an act as a blur, dumb guy.. Until the person had to called my name “Mr.Jong!, you there?”. probably I think the next time things like that happen again I’ll try and see if I can record the conversation hehehe. And probably post it up on youtube or something. Now that would be interesting.

Lock Your Doors

Yesterday a close friend of mine got his house robbed. Apparently these people know what they were doing. I’m not sure on what they were stolen, but he told me that my external hard disk was taken as well. Anyway, it pretty much sucks considering the fact that if a town or city begins to expand. You can’t help but crime rates do increase as well.

So what are the law enforcement doing about it? Well, can’t complain too much about them either as they are human too. I remember reading in the Borneo Post : Law enforcement lacking, shop owners lament. Yeah, I guess we can’t complain too much as well. Probably they don’t get paid enough for doing their job.

Anyway, back to the story. Another friend of mine just told me in Miri also having similar cases. Whereby in Senadin there have been people come knocking on the door asking to open the door. And unfortunately for them, the kids just open the door and the buggers just rushed in and took whatever they need. Another similar case is that, he said just a few weeks ago someone went and bang the door asking to open the door about between 1-2am in the morning. His mom was afraid so went and call the police, and once the police had arrived the person was still there. Ended up the police did pulled the bugger out and did some martial art before booking him.

Anyway, just make sure you check your doors properly before you leave. Especially now since they do come in during day time. And plus, some of them even strike when you are at home. So do be careful and secure your home.

I Won RM20 from Chipster

While everyone is busy going to the Spring and Boulevard, Deluxe and I decided to head down to 20 Cent store to get our stock on food as well as junk food. It was really indeed a sad case because it was practically empty. I used to remember we had to rushed for parking space, queue long queues, and of course see little kids running around screaming and shouting. When we were there, it was practically empty. I guess everyone is shifting to a new place, as the saying goes. Out with the old, in with the new.

Anyway, as we were shopping for stuff the I got attracted by the tag that the chipster package has. So I thought, what the heck. Just buy one and see how it goes. And to my surprise after opening up the packet, there was this scratch card. And this was what I got.

Oh well, out of God knows how many packets were placed with this RM20. Apparently, there are only 3,125 with cash rewards. Here’s the break down from their site that I got.

5 x RM1,000 = RM5,000
20 x RM500 = RM10,000
100x RM100 = Rm10,000
3,000 x RM20 = RM60,000
Grand total of 3,125 packets which worth of RM85,000.

So I guess it’s not too bad considering that I managed to get a RM20.. Better than nothing.. Oh well. It’s all good.. Hehehe..
