New Year Beginning 2008
Wooo. Haven’t been posting much lately as I have been pretty much occupied with tons of stuff lately. Firstly would like to congratulate both Selamat & Michelle, in their wedding on the 29th Dec 07. Sorry guys, am still processing your pictures, so hopefully it will be done by another day or two. Ok.. Wishing everyone a Happy new year…
So many things to post, but got lazy to do it in the end.. Hehehe.. Anyway, here’s a brief summary on what has happened to me during the past year 2007. Crap how time pass by so quickly.
January
After my proposal with Deluxe on the 24th December 2006, we started to plan on how to run the things for the big day. Apparently I haven’t asked her dad for her hand in marriage. So I had to seek counsel on how to ask someone’s daughter for her hand. Once that was done, our next problem which was choosing the date. And unfortunately, he did encounter some problem, but in the end everything went out all right. Reason why we had to get our dates correct was Airasia was giving out free tickets. So that was our main concern. Anyway, we also managed to decide who to take our wedding pictures, marriage counseling, as well as preparing our engagement sweets.
February
I managed to get Powerseller Status on Valentine’s day. Guess that what eBay gave us for sticking with them hehe. Anyway, went back for Chinese New Year, and celebrated with the family. And on the 27th of Febuary, Deluxe and I got engaged on that day. That’s where we announced our big day 
March
Basically nothing much happened during this month. As I remember that Deluxe had to go back to Jakarta to renew her passport. Then we tried and look for something else to do as well, especially getting ready for the wedding and other flight arrangement on how to go to Jakarta.
April
Ok. I got a first hand at a Fujifilm S6500FD, whereby I managed to play around with it. Interesting how Fuji can come up with this sort of camera, and apparently this model was so much better compared to the S9600. But it was good having to fool around with it for a while.
During this month was the very first time I attempt to write for PPP. Boy was it addictive as well. And also we had our 2nd marriage counseling. Anyway, during this month was our memorable furniture incident.
May
During this month it was Deluxe’s Birthday at Sharing Planet. Wasn’t what we expected, but it was ok. After that, she had to leave for Jakarta for a friend’s wedding and won’t be back for a while. So I’ve decided to move in for the time being, as it would help me save tons of time. Especially with the cats around..
Speaking of cats. I actually lost one of my cat the day before I left for Jakarta (Day 1). What happened was that, I brought it over to Selamat’s place, and hoping to drop it off there. Anyway, once I opened the door, she actually leaped out from the car and went to the neighbor’s place and hid under the car. We tried to call her out (the one missing was Ah Phak : the white one, and Ah Dut got locked up in the shop next door) but she wouldn’t want to come out. I think after 10 mins, didn’t hear any more sound from her, as we tried to get his neighbor to open the gate she wasn’t there anymore.. Haiz. How sad, and apparently she is much more smarter and more fun to be with compared to Ah Dut. Oh well, hopefully someone took her in and give her a better life.

June
This month we have Granny’s Birthday as well as my birthday. During this month most of the major things really happened in my life. On the 13th June 07 was our Registration Date for both Deluxe and myself. Plus our Engagement lunch on the 24th June 2007. Those were indeed memorable. And not to mention the Bridal Shower that was thrown at us from our Cell Group. It was good.
July
Major event that happened here is probably the time I become NMBC Certified. Yup, I got married on the 7th of July 2007. We had our ceremony at SIB Canada Hill Church, followed by lunch at Telang Usan Hotel. After that, we had our Tea Ceremony at my place. Then we rested a while before heading out for our dinner reception. But of course I couldn’t have done this with the help of my family. That was indeed the major event that took place in July.
August
On the 11th of August 2007, I’ve got myself certified as a Education Specialist. Plus during this month I started on another journey in term of career wise, where I’m doing phone consultancy in helping people to start their business on eBay. Apart from that, I started getting into the hobby of photography already.
September
Nothing much happened here, as I recall most of my blog became very quiet where I also bought a HP IPAQ 512. Anyway, the new job really took a lot out from me. So it was a bit sad, but after a while it got better. And I had to delay my Merdeka convoy post three weeks later. Haha.
October
As you can see, during these few months my post became less and less. As I was still adjusting with tons of things as well. So basically didn’t pretty much blog much. And it was basically tiring. Plus, during the month of October, this was when this site alexjong.com was born, and also I completed my Education Specialist Site.
November
Things started to get busy around here.. Especially with Vacation Bible School where the kids were really a pain. Lol. Anyway, the month of November, I had two things happening. One was VBS as well as an event with eBay, where I actually went there and help them out. People were amazed what in the world I’m doing in KL. Some more this is voluntary, and I don’t get paid. So yeah, so take it as if I’m attending a live event and finally meet up with the others I normally chat on the boards. It was good. As for VBS, was hectic where we had practice almost every night just to train the little one to perform well for the fun night. Anyway, I also had a little bit of side effect from the whole thing, but it’s all good now. After that was our KK Trip! Yeah! We had fun Here’s our trip which was divided into 4 parts. December
During this month Deluxe and I join the Christmas Procession, where we basically toured around Kuching singing Christmas Carols. And also we during Christmas Eve, we watched the performance of Faith Methodist Church Children Choir in a Penguin Story. And also witness the Baptism on Christmas Day.
I would also like to congratulate for Selamat & Michelle on their wedding which falls on the 29th December 2007. I’ve still yet released the photos, as I have not been authorized to share these pictures yet.. Hehehe. But it’s all good. Anyway you can see their bridal shower here.
That’s all for 2007. Yup. How time flies. Thank you all for those who have dropped by here once in a while to see if I’m still alive or not. And very sorry for the disappointment if there’s nothing interesting to see here. Anyway, I’ve already made my New Year Resolution for 2008. Anyway.. Have to finish up Selamat & Michelle pictures now. You guys have a good year.
