Its The New YEar

Just upgraded to WordPress 2.7 and I’m pretty impress with the new outlook. Makes blogging more fun I guess now

   So it’s the New Year. So basically I’ll prolly reflect back on what I did back in 2008. But most likely highlight the most memorable event that happened last year.

   In the month of February, both Deluxe and myself found out that we would be starting a family soon. We only managed to find out after Chinese New Year. But it’s all good. Hehehe.. Little did we know how this little baby would indeed change our lives forever

   In the month of March, was a chance for me to make myself useful being a Malaysian citizen. Yes, I participated in the 12th General Election for Malaysia. It was pretty cool because, suddenly I felt the power to choose who I want to represent Miri. Anyway, wasn’t really into politics, could have been hyped over the fact that I could actually vote. Lol. So I pretty much flew back to Miri just to vote. And that was when I also got a Motorola L6 (which it got stolen later this year), and a Sony Playstation 2.

   Nothing much happened during the month of April, apart from Deluxe not feeling very well. Guess it’s from the morning sickness. Anyway, Ah Dut had left us because we were worried that his germ could affect the baby. And also in this month, I pretty much got the chance of being a reporter. Kononnya lah.. At least I pretty much tried almost everything already. Lol.. And also we went and gave Kevin a farewell dinner at Chef’s Special. There was food and a lot of singing

   June also marks the new business I pretty much venture. Which is a web design and hosting. The name of the business is T.T.E Tech which you can see at the website why it’s called T.T.E. Tech. Managed to get a few customers as well designing their website. So I guess it’s all good, not to mention that I’ve also selling computer parts as well. Never the less, it’s all good.

   In the month of July I went and participated with the Youth and BB sort of Amazing Race. Previously before the price of petrol was only at RM1.91, I said yes to Elmund. Anything to support his ministry, sekali the petrol went up. Well.. You pretty much know the drill. But no matter, it was indeed a fun time. But never the less, I lost my phone while participating this event. Kinda sad actually, though it’s a cheap phone. But still, it was still a good phone actually. Anyway, you can pretty much read them up here.

   In the month of August, I had the privilege in witnessing the opening ceremony of Breakthrough Network Center. As this would be a center to help the poor, and been quite involve with it as well. But never the less, it was indeed exciting for this ministry whereby I thought I could make a difference. But never the less God has been good for opening this door for me.    The month of October is probably the highlight of the year for me. Whereby finally it was the month that I was pretty much upgraded to being a daddy. Words couldn’t express how happy I was when Esther came into our world. Just recently a friend of mine visited me and told me that I’ve changed a lot. She kept on stating that I always have this fatherly attitude, and not as “siaw” like last time. Lol, but I guess it’s all good. Never the less, it’s all good. But as days goes by, I’m still pretty much learning on how to be a dad. And it wasn’t easy getting to know Esther, but it was indeed a joy to have her in my life. She came into this world at the right time, whereby I remember how stress both Deluxe and myself was for the past few weeks. And when everything was over, she decided to came into our world. Probably we’ll tell her the whole story when she gets a little bit older

   November was the month we celebrated Esther’s first full month. Dad finally got the chance to meet her for the very first time. And he was still pretty much scared in carrying her, worry that he’ll drop her. But it’s all good. All the time he was busy snapping away Esther on his phone, apparently he wanted to show off to his friends that he has finally became a grandpa. Lol. Guess it’s all good. Never the less, it was all fun and joy whenever everyone is around to celebrate. And also at this month, Esther managed to meet up with a new friend Samantha. Yeap, Selamat and Michelle also have a baby girl. Guess these two girls would pretty much grow up together and be best friends.. Hehehe.. We shall see how things goes

   Finally the month of December, where things really got busy. Not to mention with Doulos around, I went to Jakarta, I got sick, then Deluxe got sick and finally Esther got sick. Anyway, it wasn’t a pretty sight as both Esther and I had to be admitted to the hospital. For my case, I was pretty much given the wrong medicine where I ended up having yellow vision. While Esther got admitted because she was still small. Anyway, hopefully things would turn out better now in the new year. And looking back, time does flies quickly when you’re busy and having fun.

   Didn’t really had countdown last night, because both Deluxe and I was pretty much exhausted from the whole drama we had last week. But I guess it’s all good. Never the less, I’ll be more careful in “accepting additional task” and probably learn to start saying No. Again, I wouldn’t want to miss out everything on what Esther do. And looking back at my last year new year resolution, I pretty much got a few things done.. I think Let me review what was my new year resolution was.

1. Try to blog once a day either one of the blog I own.
2. Lose 20kg
3. Go back to song writing
4. Get Deluxe a Canon Powershot S5 IS
5. Start to conduct a workshop
6. Buy a house!
7. Buy a car

   That pretty much leaves a few more things to be done. Lol. But I guess it wouldn’t be long to achieve these next few things. Lol. I’m currently going back to writing songs now, but still fine tuning it at the moment. I haven’t really try to lose weight, but I will do it this year. Seriously. I’m currently at 95kg, so hopefully by the end of the year I’ll drop to 75kg. Hehehe. We shall see ya.. Deluxe didn’t really wanted a camera, so in the end I got her a camera phone instead. Anyway, she pretty much blasted me for getting her that, but it’s all good. And I managed to conduct a mini workshop already, which is an improvement and hoping to do it a bigger scale this year. Still working on a few more things at the moment, and hopefully things will go well. As for the house and car, well. Still considering because we are not sure how things would turn out within this next few years. We are looking for possibilities in settling down, but we’re still leaving our options open. But never the less. It’s all good. So finally this would be the very first post of the year, and hopefully I would start to blog more frequently now, as I’m pretty much leaving a time for me to sit down and write stuff. But still considering if I should use Joomla or not for my blog, as it would be more interesting I believe. Never the less, Happy New Year to all readers, and may you have a good year this year!
