The Past Few Days

So what have I been doing for the past few days or rather should I say weeks.  Apart from trying to figure out how to import wordpress to joomla, whereby some of my post lost it’s title and I had to manually edit them.   I’ve also been going through some insurance policy for Esther in terms of medical as well as educational products. At the rate I’m going, probably I can already start selling insurance.  Anyway, I’ll prolly leave that in the next post as well as the scholarship funds that I’ve just recently got for Esther.

Well, about 2 weeks ago I went and reactivate my account with Al-Rajhi bank. I think my account was dormant since early this year.  But I never bother to went and sort of reactivate it again because I thought I wouldn’t really be using it.  Never the less, while I was sorting all my cards and bank statement.  I realised that I still have a bit of amount in there, and no way I’ll be letting them sending it to the unclaimed money accounts.  Unlike Maybank or CIMB bank, when your account is dormant you can actually go and withdraw the money out just to activate it again from what I understand in their terms and conditions.  I thought maybe, either deposit or withdraw would do the trick.  But unfortunately for me, it didn’t.  Anyway, so I was like there sitting there while waiting for my turn.  Actually I didn’t press any queue number, as the guard was also blur on not too sure what number I should press to reactivate the account.  Lol.So he just asked me to tell the teller that my account is dormant and see what the fella say.  Anyway, to cut long story short as I don’t want to go into too details on what had happened.  In order for you to reactivate this account you must deposit a minimum of RM10 through their counter in order to activate it.  So right now I’ve pretty much got my account back.  Good for Paypal withdrawal by the way.  So prolly I’ll keep that account as well.  Anyway, so much for that.

Oh yeah, I finally went and got my IC replaced.  Seriously, one should really wonder how in the world it could have got cacated in the first place. I mean, the chip still looks good unlike other people that I know off.  It just couldn’t read at all.  It’s kinda sad don’t you think.  Why couldn’t they make it long lasting like an ATM card.  I have a Hong Leong Bank ATM card which was like 12 years ago.  And it is still functioning. Whereby I remember changing my IC back in 2002, and it took me less than a year to realise that the chip didn’t function.  Back then, I thought it wouldn’t really matter because that time the banks not so canggih yet.  Just recently when I wanted to apply for an online banking for one of my cards, they require me to get my card fix if not bring along your original birth cert or passport just to verify that I’m Alex Jong.  Kinda sad don’t you think.  I went and got it change end of last month, so probably it will take another 2 more weeks before I can grab hold of my new IC.

Speaking of IC, another incident occurred whereby I totally forgotten to renew my driving license.  And it was already expired close to 10 months.  As I kept on thinking that my license will expire by this year.  Fortunately for me, I had no problems with the police or whatsoever when I was driving illegally for the past 10 months.  But then again it’s all good.  So for those of you have not renewed your license for a long time already, make sure you double check you can still drive.  Hehehe.

Apparently there are still a bit more glitches for this site.  As some of the text that were imported over from the temporary site didn’t turned out too good, and some pictures missing.  Anyway, that don’t really matter anymore. Since I couldn’t import the comments over so it’s going to be a clean start again.  I think it would takes months just to import the comments one by one.  So I’ll just leave it as it is.  Still liking the idea of using Joomla as my platform.  So it’s all good.  But before I go, probably I’ll leave you with a picture of my current status of my toe. You guys have a good day now.

My Toe

My battle wound from my Kinabalu Trip 2 years ago.  Still not healed as the nail went in. Not sure what to do with it now.  Hehehe.
