Monthly Archives: July 2009

Dear Esther,

Mommy, You & Daddy  Today you are 9 months old.  So many things has change over the past months ever since daddy has written to you.  You’ve pretty much start to learn how to recognize people already.  And of course, as of late you tend to stick more to mommy compared to daddy.  Probably you pretty much figured out who gives you more benefit.  Lol.  But that’s ok, Daddy still love you the way you are.

As of late, Daddy is trying to spend more time with you as well, hopefully you won’t cling on to mommy too much.  As you gave us quite a shocked 2 Sundays ago, when Mommy wanted to go and get her holy communion, you refused to let go of mommy.  But finally in the end, Daddy managed to get your attention for a while so that mommy can have her holy communion.  You sure are one difficult baby to please now.  Never the less, it’s all good as you’re pretty much beginning to grow up so quickly.  Today, we went and visited the doctor where we thought you should have your Prevanar vaccination.  Unfortuantely for us, Dr.Anne Kong wasn’t available so we ended up visiting Dr. Wee instead.  You weight in about 8.05kg, and 72cm tall today.  He did a general check up on you, and slightly brief us if we decided to go for the vaccination or not.  In the end, we’ve decided to take the shot right after when you hit your birthday.

You are beginning to learn how to pose in front of the camera  Just 2 days ago, Daddy and Mommy celebrated our 2 year annivesary of happily being married.  Daddy went and tapao some italian food for mommy.  Probably next year, you’ll be able to join us for our celebration as well.  But then again, we’ll see how it goes.  Only if you promise to be good ;)   Hehehe..  Apart from that, after you have successfully found out how to crawl.  You are already trying to learn how to stand.  Mommy said you can pretty much stand on your own inside your cot, just as long you are able to find something you can grab on for support.  So it won’t be long before you start walking followed by running around later.

Also for the past few afternoon, daddy have also been introducing you to learn how to play the Piano.  Yes, you tend to have fun banging on the keys.  But I guess everyone have to learn to start from somewhere.  So hopefully you’ll continue to keep the interests of playing the Piano in the near future.  But daddy is a bit concern you playing the guitar, as you seem to have interests in that too.  Lol.  Oh well, we shall see how it goes ya.

Anyway, Kung Kung managed to bring you to Taman Sahabat the other day just while bringing your Yi Kung to tour around Kuching.  I heard from Mommy you were smiling and laughing all the time.  Daddy haven’t take the photos from mommy’s laptop as all the pictures were stored in there.  Never the less, you really seem to have a good time from the pictures which I saw.  And it won’t be long, you’ll be going for another long journey.  But I guess I’ll keep that as a surprise for now, and hopefully you’ll be patient in reading the next letter daddy is going to write to you next month.

It’s getting kinda late already, so daddy will need to sign out now.  Daddy still have got some more work to do, but currently can’t get any inspiration on how to do it.  Probably daddy will just sleep through it tonight and see how it goes in the morning.  Hopefully daddy will be able to complete it by then.  Till then, sweet dreams my precious daugther.

Loving you always,

Daddy

2nd Year Anniversary

Our Wedding Ceremony @ SIB Canada Hill Church  We were probably one of the thousands of people decided to get married on the 7th of July 2007.  We never plan to get married on that day, as we wanted to be some time later.  But never the less, I guess it was good as everything seems to fall into places on that very day.  2 years really passed by so quickly, and we’ve been through so much together Deluxe and I.  So far it has been a blissful marriage, and not to mention Esther came along and added colors to our lives.  So what did we do on our anniversary?
Well, I pretty much postponed my practice session to last night and specifically managed to clear the evening just for her.  After we finally close the shop, decided to go and get something for dinner.  We wanted to try the new pizza place just next to Air Asia office, but unfortunately it was closed.  So instead, I went to Bella Italia at Jalan Kapal Terbang.  It’s been a very long time since we pretty much go for fine dining.  Apparently that place used to be one of our favorite place to go celebrate any occasion.  But after we pretty much got tied down, some how we pretty much stopped going to those places. With Esther around, it’s kinda hard to bring her to these places and eat.  Never the less, I went there and got ourselves a few things to bring home.
Ceaser Pizza @ RM22  The reason why we love going to Bella Italia is because of their Pizza. We think it’s still more tastier compared to Pizza Hut as you pretty much only eat their thick crust more.  Anyway, that’s only my opinion.  Apart from that, I went and got Lagsana as well as Spaghetti.  So total spent was about RM52.  Never the less, their food quality never dropped since the very last time we dined there.
Anyway, by the time I got back it was already close to 8.30pm.  Esther had already gone to bed, which we both pretty much thought Esther was being nice to finally gave us time to eat with each other.  Because normally Deluxe would play with Esther first while I eat, and once I’m done it’s my turn to take care of Esther while Deluxe eats.  Dinner was great as both of us continue to talk over all sorts of things, whereby one of our latest topics was insurance.  And wondering how come we seldom go out to eat, apart from our Sunday lunch.  One reason was probably due to Esther as she needs a lot of attention and does not like to be placed in those baby chair.  So the only way to go is to tapao.
But it’s all good, as it doesn’t really matter much.  Because now we are pretty much a family already with Esther coming into the picture.  Probably I’ll write in my next post of Dear Esther, as I still think that Esther have given so much things to appreciate in life as well as each other.
To Deluxe, the love of my life.  It has been a great 2 years with you, and I’m looking forward in celebrating more anniversary with you.  And will always continue to love you for the rest of my life.

PB Day2Day Visa Debit Card Withdraw Paypal Success

This was pretty much my expression when I checked my account this morning  But before I go on, apparently I was having some problems with joomla latest patch.  Probably the only way to solve it is doing a fresh install if not roll back to the previous version.  Which pretty much is a bummer because I don’t think I have the time to work on it bit by bit.  Hopefully they’ll come up with a patch soon.  The problem is that, in Firefox if I were to save an article or post it, I’ll get an error.  So far there don’t seem to be anything wrong with IE, but when I save the article, it doesn’t save the formatting. So forgive me if this will be a messy post.
Anyway, as the title pretty much speaks for itself. I was able to withdraw my paypal funds successfully via Public Bank Day2Day Visa Debit Card.  So my next course of action is probably cancel my Visa Electron Card and stick to PB Day2Day card.  The reason is due to the fact that it is cheaper to maintain, plus I have an additional saving account which can be used for trading online.

Went and withdraw on the 2nd of July Managed To Received The Money Today

So you can see that my withdrawal was successful.  But let’s take a look at the transaction on the 01-07-2009.  I was given the credit of RM0.02 instantly, which was due to the fact that I made a transaction via PayPal for the verification process.  Unlike Visa Electron you might need to wait until the end of the year before you can actually use the cashback value.  Pretty cool don’t you think?

Anyway, for those who wish to upgrade your bankcard to this, there are pros and cons which you would like to consider which I stated in my previous post.  But never the less, it’s all good ;)   So I do hope that this final post for the PB Day2Day card will help you decide on which card you would like to take.

Oh before I forget, in order for you to use this card online you must first apply for the Verify with Visa, which you can actually do it at the public bank website.  Like the Public Bank Visa Electron Debit card, the credit limit you must enter is 000000.  Then you can enter a new pin already by then.  Have a nice day.

The Day Alexjong.Com Nearly Died

Been restoring my site since yesterday, so it's kinda like doing donkey work  Yes, you’ve got that right.  Well, what actually happened was that my itchy fingers went and proceed in deleting over 3k records inside my blog.  Because the search function on this site does not work, so I thought one of the plugin was causing this problem.  Anyway, I’ve been restoring my site since yesterday, so it’s kinda like doing donkey work.  Fortunately for me, I still have the database script when I import from my previous test website to this one.  But unfortunately for me there were a few bugs inside the sql database, where I had to manually go and read through each part to see which line went wrong.  So you could imagine trying to restore over 500 post.  Anyway, there are still some more glitches all of my post whereby it produces unwanted text.  I don’t think I’ll edit them one by one, as it’s too time consuming.

So yeah, basically that’s about it.  Never the less it is very hot here in Kuching despite the heavy rain pour we experienced last night.  Was about to go back right after I went and tapao Roti John.  I will prolly blog about it later in my next post when I go there and restock again.  Lol.  It is seriously good!  Anyway, last nite was the owner who had to come down and sell by himself.  He told me the previous people who used to do it were his employees who were looking for a job.  But unfortunately after employing them for 6 months, his sales dropped drastically by 95%.  Anyway, this person is situated near Ambank in between of the foodstall there.  You shouldn’t miss it, probably will be heading back there again tomorrow evening ;)   You guys have a nice day now.

Your Passport Details Are Available Online

Trace your travelling destinationA friend sent this to me.  And I was shocked when I read how they managed to find out where I travel.  Be sure to put your name correctly and you will be able to trace all your previous travel outside Malaysia.  Anyway, read on and be shocked…

I WAS SHOCKED TO READ THIS:

Passport records available on line !!

Our personal information in our passports are now available online due to the move for globalized screening of entries and exits of people in most, if not all countries.

These information have been accessed through the Schengen, American, Australian and Asian database.

It is scary that they are doing this now. It does not only invade our privacy, but exposes us to danger, if these information land on the wrong hands. The matter that gives me a fright is that there is no strict form  of security to access the site.. One only needs to type his name and country of citizenship and the passport’s identification page displays.

I myself tried to search and found my passport and was totally stunned to  see it.

Click on the site below

I hope we can make concerted a protest against this !!!
