PayPal & Local Banks

Paypal  Good news everyone.  You can now withdraw your paypal funds locally.  I haven’t tried it out personally yet.  But I’ll give it a shot in my next paypal funds which I estimate will be arriving sometime next week.  Hehehe.  From what I understand is that, it will charge you a minimal fee of RM3 if you decide to withdraw less than RM400.  But if it’s more than RM400 then there will be no charges.  Cool don’t you think.  It’s better compared to the USD5 withdrawal through your credit or debit card.  Anyway, stay tuned while I’ll be doing a test withdrawal in the next few weeks.  Have a nice day!

Single Life?

Sometimes we just need to sit and wait, and just let time pass us by. Was going through some photos from a friend of mine on their latest trip to Vietnam, and already they are planning for another trip next year.  And also the late night parties they were having almost every weekend or any day they felt like gathering.  I guess it is much more easier being single in order to do all those activities.

Having said that, after being married Deluxe and myself was still able to move around like my bunch of friends back home.  But ever since having Esther, our lifestyle has pretty much changed one way or another.  As I look at those photos, I was wondering how in the world they have the energy to party all night, and still able to go to work the next day.  Lol.  As I was talking to Deluxe about this, she asked me this question on if I missed the life of being single or envy my friends able to travel around just like that without worrying anything at all.\

My birthday bash in church, back in 2006. Come to think of it, I never have really given it a thought.  Simply because maybe I just don’t have the time to do it as well.  Lol.  But seriously speaking, I don’t think I could actually sort of live up to that type of life again.  10 years ago maybe I could still be that monkey jumping up and down without any problems.  Lol.  But anyway coming back to the point, at this moment I don’t think I wanna go back doing all those things again.

I don’t know, maybe with Esther around priority does change in life for me.  And of course, goofing around doesn’t really come into my priority list anymore.  I don’t know, thinking that maybe that I wouldn’t want Esther to have a dad who still party all night through.  Lol.  I must honestly admit that I’ve done quite a lot of stupid things in my life.  And looking back I seriously wish I didn’t do those things.  Hahaha, and boy you would pretty much be amazed what I’ve done back then.  But never the less, it’s all good.  History will definitely not repeat itself, and I now understand why my parents would pretty much be crossed by the things that I’ve done.  Lol.  Anyway, what my priority right now is make sure that I can provide enough for the family and make sure there’s always food on the table.

Family first. Everything else comes second. Nowadays, it’s just me sitting behind the laptop thinking of means and ways just to make an extra buck.  Whereby at the moment I’m still working on something and hopefully that would bring me somewhere in the near future.  But in the mean time, the shop still goes on, and of course the website is still on, but will be introducing something new to it.  And hopefully that would pretty much generate some income :D

So in conclusion, no I don’t miss my life being single.  As I’m very much happy on how things are turning out now.  Not to mention that I had to “grow” a lot just to make sure Esther’s daddy is still not a monkey.  No offense, but I think maybe that’s the way how things are suppose to be.  As I noticed that, most of my friends back home tend to not hang out as I’m already a family man.  A good example was my friend’s wedding last year, as they still wanted to lepak as I told them I’m already exhausted, and that was only 9pm.  But at the end of the day, family will always be first in my priority, everything else would need to come next.  Signing out now, going to work on a new project soon ;)   Have a nice day.

Happy Birthday Esther!

Dear Esther,

You holding the number 1 to tell the world you're 1 year old.  1 year seems to passed by so quickly.  It feels as if it was like yesterday when I first heard you cry.  We didn’t really had a big celebration as both mummy and daddy was a bit occupied with some other things.  But never the less, we still decided to throw you a little mini birthday party.  Anyway, your Ah Ma came down to Kuching just to celebrate your birthday.  You never seem to stop talking with Ah Ma, and of course you showed off on how you can master walking easily.  Lol.  Never the less, it’s all good.

Anyway, you woke up very early that day as usual.  As mummy went down and prepared red eggs for you, while daddy went and get some noodles.  All of us was very excited in preparing for your birthday.  You are indeed one happy baby, not to mention that you couldn’t stop talking.  Lol, I guess you are pretty excited yourself.

Yes, as we were flipping through the album you saw the picture of Winnie the Pooh, you began pointing to it and laughed.  We went and ordered your cake last Sunday, and we had a hard time choosing your birthday cake.  But fortunately for us, we had you to choose the cake for us.  Yes, as we were flipping through the album you saw the picture of Winnie the Pooh, you began pointing to it and laughed.  So assumed that you wanted that cake, even the workers there was impressed by you.  You seemed to have this thing for Winnie the Pooh.

Ah Ma and daddy went and collected the cake just the day before, as we thought maybe your cake would be completed by then already.  By the time daddy went into the cake shop, daddy saw your cake sitting in the freezer just waiting for us to come and collect it.  Upon reaching home, mummy went and opened the box and see the cake you pointed to the cake and say “Bear, Bear”.  Lol.  And mummy told me that you also laughed at the cake, when you saw the picture of Winnie the Pooh eating berries.

You and your little red egg.  So once that was all done, we all began to start preparing for your birthday that morning.  Mummy took out the red eggs, and placed them near your table, while daddy was busy setting up the video camera, as well as the camera.  Ah Ma was pretty much attending to you while both mummy and daddy tried to get ready everything.  So once everything was set, it was time to sing Happy Birthday to you.

While we were singing, you were looking at each and everyone of us very closely wondering what is happening.  Hahaha, never the less the expression on your face was priceless.  Probably you might need to wait for daddy to convert the video first.  After that, it was time to blow off the candle.  I guess you were pretty smart at the very young age to not to play with fire.  As mummy went and brought the cake near to you, you were frightened of it and wanted to run off.  Lol, in the end it was mummy who ended up blowing off the candle for you.  It was indeed a special moment as you have grown another year older.  And how time does flies when we are with you.

Daddy, Mummy, You & Ah Ma  Then it was time for you to cut the cake.  Again I guess you are one smart baby as you didn’t really want to cut the cake.  As you felt as if the knife was dangerous as you didn’t even want to hold it.  Lol.  It’s ok, as mummy was with you all the time to cut the cake for you.

Soon after that, it was photo taking time.  You were attracted by the beeping sound of the camera which helped you to focus on the camera.  Lol.  Then it was time to makan.  Both mummy and daddy ate a lot, while Ah Ma managed to eat your cake.  Once that was over, mummy and daddy went and clear the place just before daddy went down to open the store.

That was pretty much about it, both mummy and daddy is very blessed to have you in our lives.  As you have indeed painted a lot of colors of memories in our lives.  Anyway, daddy will need to stop now as you are starting to blabber a lot.  While mummy is talking to your Po Po.  Until the next time.  Happy Birthday, and May God continue to bless you always.

Loving you always,

Daddy

Mooncake Celebration

Elias, Couldn't recall her name, & Esther   Got caught up with a few things last week.  As I’m still looking for the perfect template to renovate a few sites.  Lol.  Anyway, how we celebrated moon cake festival?  Well, we attended the church celebration on the 26th September.  It was packed with a lot of people, but Deluxe, Esther and myself decided to excuse ourselves first because Esther was getting a bit cranky probably due to the heat.  The night started off with singsparation, whereby Tsou Kai did an excellent job again cranking up people to get up and sing.  Got to give him credit for his eagerness as well as creativity.  After that there were a music presentation made by the youth, and shortly after that, it was question and answer time once again.  Like last year, if you get the correct answer you will get Ang Pao for all your effort.  After that, I believe it was the lantern procession but we didn’t stayed on for it.

Esther was curious by the different types of laternAnyway, behind the street of Main Bazaar from 29th September till the 3rd of October, there would be an annual food sales at the back.  However this year, the stalls seems to be less compared to the previous year.  The crowd also didn’t turned up from what I expect it to be.  A few stalls which we normally would go would be a stall selling Hot Dog Cheese a must get, but it wasn’t there.  Anyway, it was a bit disappointing because it wasn’t as happening as before.  Maybe it was due to the rain last year, people didn’t want to set up any stalls.  Oh well, never the less, it was still good as Esther had been wanting to go out every night to see what’s happening at the back.

Anyhow we did managed to green bean mooncake for ourselves.  The taste was a bit funny though.  Either that, maybe it wasn’t the typical type of mooncake one would normally buy.  But anyway, it’s all good.  Ok.  I think I’ll just log off now as I’m heading back to work in search of the perfect template for some school.  Lol.  Have a nice day every one.
