Monthly Archives: May 2010

Goodbye May, Hello June!

This has been one of the most memorable months for me.

The sky reminds me of you.
God is a painter.
Oh, and we celebrate birthdays like this:

Yeah. You can’t see the guy down there, because he’s the birthday boy.
The guy on top is just the one giving what we call: the burger XD
I’m also VERY EXCITED to announce the new highway to Kota Kemuning!
Previously, it took 15-45 minutes to get to New Life and CA.
Now…
10-15 min only.

God’s blessin’ to us! : ) No more transport hassles.
Had an outing with beloved juniors. Watched Shrek 4 (it’s awesome).
And had this:

only 10.90 : )
Global Day of Prayer 2010.
Talk about full attendance!
(my first time at such an event)

The shofar, a Jewish instrument, which carries tremendous significance of God’s presence.
Behold, the united body of Christ! Packed to the brim.
God’s presence was overwhelming in the place.
Prayer has never been so crucial in a time like this.
And oh, I’ve never sang Negaraku so passionately as I did that night!

He Knows My Name

I was awaken early this morning, with Esther’s cry. And not long after that, Deluxe went and did the usual routine. But this time was slightly different, she went and switched off the air condition. And Esther was still crying, despite after her feeding. Deluxe then informed me that she’s having fever, it wasn’t long before she went downstairs to try and give her medicine. When I went down stairs to check on her, apparently her temperature was 38-38.4 degree Celsius. When we got back to our room, while she was still trying to sleep. I said a prayer for her, and it wasn’t long before all 3 of us went to sleep. When we got up this morning, I went and check her and apparently her fever had went down. No doubt that she was still feeling very hot, but I believed that our prayers were answered. After coming back from the airport, I went to check on her again and this time she was already back to normal. Deluxe checked her temperature, and it was down to 36.3. So it was a big relief for us then. Deluxe said that maybe it’s due to her teething which cause her fever. But never the less, I still want to thank God for answering our prayers in ensuring that Esther will be all right. Right now I think she’s having a nap, as she was tired from running around this morning. Lol. Anyway this song speaks out a lot. So do enjoy.

He Knows My Name – Tommy Walker
I have a Maker
He formed my heart
Before even time began
My life was in his hands

I have a Father
He calls me His own
He’ll never leave me
No matter where I go

He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And He hears me when I call

Frienz N Family

Finally I got the chance to dine at Frienz N Family. It’s located at Jalan Song, at the new rows of shop, behind Sin Nam Fatt(hopefully I got the name right). They served western food. It’s been a long long time not dining in a western restaurant.

I went there to meet up with my course mate for our assignment discussion, we got no idea where to go so ended up there. Didn’t know that the lighting was so dim(the photo you see here) but luckily the place has two sections. Of course we chose the brighter section. I really cannot imagine making notes and reading books under such dimly lit place *LOL*.

Left: Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce(RM10.90)

Right: Chicken Cutlet(RM10.90), not bad, portion was big. Even though it’s deep fried, it’s not oily at all. I wanted to order sirloin steak but too bad they didn’t have that last night. Craving for it, that’s why.

I hope I got the prices right ;p I just realized I took photo of the wrong page of the menu for my reference. How silly!

Would definitely go there again to try some other food, they have pizzas too! The pricing is quite reasonable. Who wants to go there again with me? This post is making me hungry now and reminded me of my sirloin steak craving.

I presented WOW Card last night and got 20% discount. Really saved a lot! Our total bill after the discount was RM29.60. My course mate did order some other food before I reached.

Changing View from My Bedroom Window (1)

Then, 2008…

Now, 2010…

No 2009 because I couldn’t find any photo for it, doesn’t matter, it’s the same as 2008. I’ve been greeted with the same view every time I look out of the window for more or less a decade.

It’s changing now, soon I will not be seeing this view. A totally new view will greet me in estimated 5 years time. The area will be developed into commercial centre with shops and high rise buildings. The developer is in the process of clearing the area. I really cannot imagine how will it looks like by then. Will I be here to see the changes taking place or come back with a new view by then?

We’ll see…

What else is new?

Special Announcement (Yeah right ;P)
Apparently I will be expecting a treat this coming Sunday, due to the fact that my jinx actually worked. And if it was going to happen again, he’ll be asking me to do the same thing again. So I guess it’s all good. Lol.
Apart from that, a good friend of mine Angie who apparently started to sell clothes. Yes, do check out her site here at Angie’s Trendy Wardrobe. Every month she’s also giving away something free, so I recommend that you really check it out ;)
Irene is trying her luck again. Do visit her site, and if possible try to vote for her here. So far I only see 2 categories which is under personal and food. She is known as Sweet Surrender. So yeah do vote for her.

Kenak hantam again due to the fact that I’ve not been updating regularly here. After trying to be discipline but apparently I always get distracted and ended up not doing anything about it. I’ve finally managed to clear all of my backlogs, and wanted to get working on the new site. Unfortunately I’ve promised someone to do something, whereby the due date is somewhere August and another in October. So I’m going to be busy once again, so I guess it’s all good. Hehehe.

Last week, Rev. Dr. Stephen Tong was around. And was only able to join him for the 1st night as well as the 3rd night. Got quite a good number of crowd despite of the weather. So far, I’ve been having a lot of ideas on getting things done, but again I have this habit of procrastinating. Yes, it’s a bad habit I know. But what to do, I’m still trying to change as soon as possible.

I’ve actually given myself a plan for myself to get everything up and running within the next 6-12 months. And I know that this is seriously ambitious, since someone told me that. We all tend to plan alot, but the problem with planning we don’t do anything about it. Eg:- We want to get a big house, a big car, or go on a vacation. Just that, we never know how to achieve those things in life. The things we want. So I’ve pretty much draw up a master plan already. So far 3% have been implemented. Yes I know I’m slow, due to procrastinating and distraction along the way. But never the less, I’ll try to get one site up and running within the next 2-3 weeks.

So that’s pretty much about it for now. Managed to get free seat back home next year for a special event, so all 3 of us will be heading back. And I’ve been trying to get flight back to Jakarta as well. Since return flight from Kch –> KL –> Jakarta only cost about RM340 for all 3 of us. It could actually been cheaper, but due to AirAsia disconnecting the direct flight from Kuching Jakarta, it has sort of been very inconvenient. We’ll be flying to Jakarta again for our annual pilgrimage, and will be transiting in Singapore. Will be spending 2 days in Singapore as well.

At the moment, I’m trying to patch up my current ride. Despite the fact that it’s literally falling apart one by one, but fortunately for me I have eBay to thank. So I was able to get ORIGINAL parts at a fraction of the price. But had a miss communication with one of the seller, so there have been another delay in getting my car fixed. But it’s coming along well. Wondering if it’s ok if I were to pimp my ride, and hopefully won’t get stopped by JPJ. Am very tempted in doing so soon.

Ok, I think that’s pretty much about it for now. Tomorrow, hopefully if I can squeeze in the time to blog about something else, but due to “personal” issues which got me writing this post instead. Still thinking if I should blog about it. Oh well. Never the less, you guys have a good day.
