Ok. After I tried upgrading using the automatic method, my whole wordpress went blank. So after trying to look for a solution somewhere out there, I found out that my wp-includes suddenly got moved into the wp-contents folder. So after placing it back to the original place it’s up and running once again.
In case for those who still have problems with it. Try deleting both your wp-admin and wp-includes and reupload manually these two folders and you should be fine. Hope this helps
