I’m currently sketching up a post for a competition which will officially end this coming Friday. But before that I pretty much need all the details so that I wouldn’t have any redudant post later. I’ve actually completed a script, but due to the requirements for the following 2 days, I had to make some minor adjustments. So hopefully eveything will be out by tomorrow. So that I can proceed on finalizing the script. So do look forward to that. Hahaha.
Anyway, tonight I’m currently blogging on Deluxe’s laptop as she told me it was running very slowly. Found out that it was due to the anti-virus which kept on scanning the whole time thus taking up most of the resources that was running on her laptop. So at the moment just doing a little bit of maintainence and at the same time just post up something here.
Again, thanks to Ruey once again as she managed to tempt me in getting something which I thought was never possible but apparently gave me something to think about. It’s the Apple Peel 520, which actually turns your Ipod Touch (currently working for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Generation Ipod) into a usable phone. You can actually send SMS as well as make phone calls with it. So imagine the wonders you can do with it. Currently there are people selling on eBay which cost about USD130 inclusive of shipping. But I’m still trying to find other options.
But, after doing a bit of research on it. I found out that apparently there seems to be a few glitches especially for the Ipod version 3.1.3 as either it turns off halfway as well as call drops once in a while. Almost went and pressed the Buy It Now button if I didn’t decide to check out on what other problems that I might encounter. Hehehe. Another down side is that, when you receive calls you won’t be able to tell you who called you as no name will appear on the call. You won’t be able to adjust the volume of the ringtone, as well as even changing it. I’ll definitely keep an eye out on this, as who knows they might come up with a better feature in the future. Especially supporting 3G. They’re expecting to ship by next week, and hopefully they will fix all the problems by then.
Currently installing some free apps on the Ipod touch for Esther. As she’s co-using it along with Deluxe. And to be honest, I don’t really fancy the Iphone 4 that much. Was thinking of getting it for Deluxe, as I think she really deserve one. And I know someone would say probably the reason why I get it for her and hopefully she won’t get use to it. So at the end of the day it will fall back into my hands. Now that would probably be wishful thinking. Hehehe. That’s was why I got her the Ipod (which I thought I got it for a bargain) for her in the first place, as she hardly have the time to switch on her laptop and check her emails or see what are her friends doing on facebook. So with that, after updating the firmware and installing some software it went to her all the way. Never really touch it after that. So if I do get an Iphone in the future, you can be sure you won’t be able to see me using it. Just to let you know, Deluxe is able to check her emails and forward me stuff almost everyday already. Hahaha. So I know it would end up in good hands.
So what else is new? Nothing much really. Trying to prepare myself for this coming Wednesday as I’m supposed to give a brief talk and more to Q &A session. So basically that’s pretty much about it. You guys take care, and thanks for visiting.
