So I have finally join the ranks of those who wakes up early in the morning to send their children off to school. Well, for Esther she started Kindergarten yesterday and didn’t cry throughout the whole time. The only time she burst into tears was when everyone started leaving for home. Probably because everyone was going home, and she didn’t see where Deluxe was. Whereby in actual fact, mommy was at the back of the classroom observing her.

Never the less, it was indeed an awkward moment, not hearing her running upstairs and calling mama this, mama that. The place seems to be very quiet without her around. But today, after recess she burst into tears when the teachers told the class that after recess they would be going home soon. But unlike yesterday, this time we were early there, as we were worried due to the flood we might reached her kindy late to prevent yesterday episode from happening.

So we’re still not too sure why she’s acting that way, but once she calmed down we explain to her once again that she didn’t had to worry as we will pick her up on time. LOL. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. And hopefully she would have a better time then, and not to worry about it.

So today is the last day of 2011, and boy does time just fly by so quickly. Unlike previous years somehow I felt that 2010 & 2011 really zip me by quickly. Maybe I’m more occupied with stuff, either that I’m trying to chase after time. Whatever the reason may be, I will be looking forward to 2012. And who knows things will turn out much better compared to the previous years.
Not to say that 2011 was bad, but indeed this year I had a lot of opportunity that was sort of laid in front of me. But due to bad time management, I had to drop out on a few. But never the less, God is good and all I need to do is to put my faith in Him more.
This year, I did a fair bit of traveling. Apart from the usual Miri for Chinese New Year and Jakarta during puasa time. Both places are indeed a great getaway from the normal routine of my life from opening the shop and closing it. So sometimes, having a break once in a while is good. Never the less, I’ve also went back to Miri to vote which some thought I was crazy as it was only a day trip. I remembered driving myself to the airport and parked it there for a good 17 hours, and just paid only RM17 for the parking ticket. It was more cheaper compared to hiring a taxi. Spent a few days in KL, while visiting my aunt and brother. And actually went for a road trip to Miri via bus, plus to Sibu as well while following my father in law. Never the less, it was a great experience for me as the long journey sort of was fun actually.
Anyway, next year resolution for me is probably just one. Is to try and finish up my last year resolution, and also make sure I handle my time efficiently. I’ve also started a new project, which hopefully I will see fruits within the next 2-3 months and maybe will post it here as well. Should everything runs smoothly.
But all this would not have happened if Deluxe wasn’t there to support me all the way. Being the ever so loving wife, she had sort of put my head straight and sometimes had to pull me back to be on track on what I need to do. If it wasn’t for her, probably I would have given up a long time ago. I guess she’s not only my wife, but my best friend whom someone I can’t live without. It’s really good to know that I have someone whom I can talk to all the time, despite having a good or bad day. Thank you for being there for me whenever I needed you. I love you dear.
And to my beautiful daughter who is growing up ever so quickly. How I wish I could have spend more time with you. As for the past few months, when I had a dateline to meet I had to work till late at night. And pretty much got up way too early to begin working. This year, I will make it a point to spend more time with you as I know that you only want to be close with me. And I will need to remind myself that I wouldn’t be that missing gap in your life. So that is another resolution that I plan to do for 2012.
Anyway, that’s pretty much about it for now. Was supposed to published it on the 31.12.11, but apparently because I was too occupied with something else had to be postponed till today. Never the less, would like to wish everyone a Blessed New Year and hope you all have a good one!

I know I’m a bit late in posting this, but never the less, here are some of the pictures that was taken during the parade last Saturday. And thank God the weather was great! So throughout the whole procession everything went smoothly. Not to mention, it was Esther first parade.

As for Esther she brought her own bicycle, as Deluxe thought it was a long journey and doubt she could walk so far. Being the loving mother and wife, she had always put others interests first before herself. Knowing me, she would know probably I would collapse during the 1st kilometer if I were to carry Esther the whole time, so she thought using the bicycle was a great idea, and wouldn’t take up too much space.

Probably it was a great experience for Esther, as she seems to enjoyed herself. But I got to say, that the police did a great job in closing up the road this year. As I recalled the previous year, cars were actually included in the procession. So thank you PDRM for doing a job well done! Anyway, after the long walk my legs were pretty much busted, and had problems walking due to the pain. Here’s the results for not walking for a very long time already.

In another 8 days time, it would be Christmas. Followed by another 15 days from today, we will be expecting 2011 to end and welcome 2012. This year has sort of been zooming by so quickly that just realized how time really waits for no man.
This year has been one wild ride I suppose. As so many things happened, which I never really wanted to post it up as I felt that it would be best to keep it to oneself. But God is good, and indeed His blessing over my family has been really good. Especially for those who were close and dearest to us, we saw God did amazing things. God is good all the time, even in times of difficulties.

In 2011, I’ve sort of made more friends, as well as reconnecting with old friends whom I have not seen in ages. Probably this year could have been a I would say a social year for me. And I’m not talking about facebook, but instead really meeting up old friends whom I’ve lost touched over the years. But it’s good actually, that I was able to do so.
Anyway, not sure what else to write in here. As I’m getting a bit old of not knowing what to write. But overall, I want to say that God is good, and indeed at times I don’t see Him in my life. He always showed wisdom and His love through the love of my life Deluxe. Indeed, through thick and thin God has been with me all this while and He came in a form of Deluxe. Thanks dear, for loving me even at times when I’m “unpredictable” at times. Anyway, will be going for the Christmas procession tonight. So hopefully will post up more things then.
