Ok, I know this is kinda an extremely late post (10 days to be exact), as I believe I have been quiet for quite some time already. Plus haven’t been podcasting for the past 2 weeks already. Well, for starters I’m kinda brain drain right now due to the fact that I don’t know what to talk about. Yeah, go figure. Besides that, I’m busy reconstructing a website which was supposedly be my side income, but have neglected it for quite some time already. So that really took up more of my time. Anyway, will try to be more frequent again as everything has sort of slow down for me.
Finally 2 years old
My little girl is finally 2 years old. And the cake you see there is the cake she decided to choose for herself. We thought she wanted the one with the princess or Winnie the Pooh, as she has been talking about it inside the car when we headed over to Taka. Anyway, when we flipped the album to see which cake she wants. She started shouting “ELMO!”, and didn’t want to choose other cakes. Even as much as we tried to check with her how many times to see if she really wants it or either the princess or winnie the pooh, she kept on insisting on Elmo. Until she got fed up and choose the princess one. But we ended up telling her she’ll be getting the Elmo cake and she was thrilled. But the catch was that she needs to wait till Friday evening before can get it.

So on Monday, she have not totally forgotten about the cake yet. She was wondering how many times she has to fall asleep before she gets to see Elmo again. So mommy decided to distract her on all that, and start giving her things to do to take a few things off her mind. Mommy just washed her blouse and decided to give Esther a try on how she would look like. When I first saw this pic when Deluxe showed to me, it looks as if she was wearing a Kimono. Maybe I should try looking for one and buy something like that for her. Never the less, it was all good.

Anyway, Deluxe told me on Wednesday she was talking to her bears and dolls, saying that still need to wait till Friday. When Daddy close the shop, we will go and get the Elmo cake. Poor little girl, learning what patience is all about. But she’s kinda cute, and Deluxe was trying very hard not to laugh. Friday came, but she still needed to wait. So Deluxe went and try letting her use her new birthday clothes, special thanks to her Grandaunty Zainap. So this is how she looks like in the picture below.

Anyway, the long wait has finally come. When she saw Elmo for the first time, you could see the biggest smile she has ever made. Instead of a purple Elmo that was in the picture, hers is a red color cake. So the next day we finally celebrate Esther birthday. Last year, just 3 weeks before her birthday she started walking. This year, 1 week before her birthday she became potty train already. And yes, she’s starting to grow up to be a big girl already. That’s pretty much about it for now. Will post up some other photos of her tomorrow. You guys have a good day.
1 year seems to passed by so quickly. It feels as if it was like yesterday when I first heard you cry. We didn’t really had a big celebration as both mummy and daddy was a bit occupied with some other things. But never the less, we still decided to throw you a little mini birthday party. Anyway, your Ah Ma came down to Kuching just to celebrate your birthday. You never seem to stop talking with Ah Ma, and of course you showed off on how you can master walking easily. Lol. Never the less, it’s all good.
We went and ordered your cake last Sunday, and we had a hard time choosing your birthday cake. But fortunately for us, we had you to choose the cake for us. Yes, as we were flipping through the album you saw the picture of Winnie the Pooh, you began pointing to it and laughed. So assumed that you wanted that cake, even the workers there was impressed by you. You seemed to have this thing for Winnie the Pooh.
So once that was all done, we all began to start preparing for your birthday that morning. Mummy took out the red eggs, and placed them near your table, while daddy was busy setting up the video camera, as well as the camera. Ah Ma was pretty much attending to you while both mummy and daddy tried to get ready everything. So once everything was set, it was time to sing Happy Birthday to you.
Then it was time for you to cut the cake. Again I guess you are one smart baby as you didn’t really want to cut the cake. As you felt as if the knife was dangerous as you didn’t even want to hold it. Lol. It’s ok, as mummy was with you all the time to cut the cake for you.
It’s been over a month since Daddy had written to you. You’ve got to forgive daddy, as daddy was tied up with a lot of unnecessary issues in life whereby now daddy had pretty much managed to clear up a lot of things within these past few weeks. So where do we begin? Well, last month you made your very first trip to Jakarta and boy did you had a great time there with your cousin Venice. It was only a week while we were there, but you have grown so much ever since. One of the things that you pretty much did was learning to play with others, especially with Venice. No doubt that you didn’t know how to share, but fortunately for Venice she always give in to you and pass you whatever toys she has.
Apart from that, you just love going to the shopping malls. And not to mention when you and your cousin sat on one of the rides. You were at first very scared of sitting inside the car, but once you’ve got used to it the ride stopped. After that it was on to the train ride, but both you and Venice were not old enough to ride alone. So both mommy’s had to follow as well, while us Daddy stayed outside and took photos as well as videos of your ride on the train.
Anyway, fast forwarding till today you also had a good time with you Ah Ma who was here with us for a week. So what are your latest “pattern” today? Well, you are more talkative now where by you would just say all sorts of things thinking that we would understand what you are actually saying. You are also right now learning how to stand on your own, and just the other day you managed to take 3 steps before falling down. It won’t be long before you will learn how to fly I suppose. But it is also very difficult for us to keep an eye on you now, especially when you start to put everything and anything into your mouth. Lol. But normally you would do it on purpose especially when all of us are watching you, daddy guess you just love the way we would all freak out and tried to pull whatever thing you had in your mouth. But I guess it’s all about growing up, and daddy still can’t believe that you are already 11 months old. You’ll be one year old in 3 weeks time. Mummy and daddy is now wondering what we should do for your birthday. Oh well, we still have 3 more weeks to decide on what we should do. Anyway, I think Daddy will stop here for now as Daddy is currently having a splitting headache. Probably it’s due to the fact that daddy had a very cold drink just now. Will be writing to you again real soon.
Today you are 9 months old. So many things has change over the past months ever since daddy has written to you. You’ve pretty much start to learn how to recognize people already. And of course, as of late you tend to stick more to mommy compared to daddy. Probably you pretty much figured out who gives you more benefit. Lol. But that’s ok, Daddy still love you the way you are.
Just 2 days ago, Daddy and Mommy celebrated our 
Hehehe.. Apart from that, after you have successfully found out how to crawl. You are already trying to learn how to stand. Mommy said you can pretty much stand on your own inside your cot, just as long you are able to find something you can grab on for support. So it won’t be long before you start walking followed by running around later.
 Today you’re 8 months and 1 week old. Time really flies, when you’re pretty much busy with so many things to do. Mummy and Daddy been talking how one week just pass by so quickly when we felt that we accomplished just a little. So what has happened over this past month since daddy last wrote to you.
 You can’t crawl yet, but I believe when the time is right you will start moving around like your friend Samantha. No doubt she’s younger than you a month, but I guess you couldn’t really coordinate your movements yet. Don’t worry, you’ll be on your feet very soon, as you are pretty much very “steady” with your baby walker. Some how or rather from what I understand from mummy was that, when you’re on the carpeted floor, you tend to work very hard in walking. But once she placed you on the tile floor, you give yourself a little push and let the stroller carry you away to your destination. As if you pretty much figured out that the tiles has less friction compared to the carpet. So I guess you’re one smart little baby. Hehehe.
 Since last month, you have developed another habit where you are able to recognize people already. You don’t like the idea of other people carrying you, even when both mummy and daddy are just in front of you. But surprisingly not all were given the same treatment. Apparently you are kindy selective on who can carry you and who can’t. Never the less, you never stop smiling at the people you love. Speaking of which, as of late you have been very “manja” with daddy. Whenever mummy would bring you down here to the shop and sit on the long bench. Daddy will always move out from my chair and head over to sit with you and mummy over the long bench. As soon as daddy sits next to mummy, you would go and reach over daddy’s shirt and start to pull daddy close to you. You pretty much wanted daddy to carry you around, lol. But it’s all good, as mummy pretty much is love by you as well.
