I was thinking about blogging about the “Cow Head” demonstration, but I think I have enough politics for a while. Never the less, I’ll prolly blog about it mebbe tomorrow sempena Hari Merdeka. Anyway, on Friday night a bunch of us decided to head over to a Cyber Cafe somewhere near OneTJ as we were talking about it a few days ago when 2 unsuspected visitors dropped by the shop.
I was actually introduced to this game by a friend of mine back in Miri, a few weeks ago. Apparently he’s been telling me that this game really rocks and for those of you who played Counter Strike before you shouldn’t have problem playing this as they are the same developer for CS as well as Half Life. Yes, this was the same person who introduced me Restaurant City but fortunately for me I was able to get off the addiction of running a virtual Restaurant. Anyway that’s beside the point, so back to the game. Basically what this game does is actually there are 4 survivors who are trying to escape a city filled with zombies that some would never stop coming after you if you decide to stay in a place for quite a while. It was a pure adrenaline rush once the game starts till the end.
As the 4 of us only managed to play 2 out of 4 campaigns, but it was good enough to keep us high till the rest of the day. Lol. Anyway, the most important of this game is that ALWAYS STICK TOGETHER. At times you would either get pounce by a hunter or caught by a smoker, you need your team mates to pretty much kill these buggers before they pretty much kill you. Apart from that, communication with each other is very important. So make sure you scream till your lungs burst at your team mates, whenever you get caught in a situation. Left 4 Dead 2 is coming in November, so there would be something to look forward to. Hehehe.. Never the less, playing solo isn’t as fun as playing multi player.
For those who haven’t tried this game you really don’t know what you are missing. Lol. Throughout the whole night was fun as it does bring back memories of my younger days while I was still playing CS with a few buddies of mine. But I guess this won’t be too often as I’ve already became a father so I don’t think it’s very good of me to go to Cyber Cafes and shoot zombies. Lol.
